The Ultimate Vehicle Hacking Experience

A Watch Dogs–style vehicle hacking device for FiveM use the item, aim at a vehicle take control and make use of 25 different hacks.

Every detail has been obsessed over, from the tactile CRT-styled UI and buttery targeting feel to the per-hack screen effects that show up on the victim's side of the screen. With 27 unique hacks across Sabotage / Control / Chaos / Intel categories, three distinct "you just got hacked" overlay variants (scanlines, SMPTE colour-bar and blackout), a fully customizable accent color + panel position picker per player, favorites, server-authoritative cooldowns (per-user AND per-vehicle), full framework + inventory + fuel-system auto-detection, and deep config lockdown for owners who want to hardcode the look. I'm sure your players will love this resource!

Highlights

Main Features (Summary)

  • ✅ Compatibility
This script is fully compatible with ESX, QBCore, and QBox frameworks, with automatic detection and seamless integration. It supports all major inventories (ox_inventory, qb-inventory plus its forks ps-inventory and lj-inventory, esx_inventory, codem-inventory, origen_inventory, jaksam_inventory, qs-inventory, qs-inventory-pro, tgiann-inventory), and the Fuel Purge hack auto-detects your fuel system (ox_fuel, LegacyFuel, lc_fuel, qb-fuel, cdn-fuel). Everything is routed through a single `bridge/` layer, adding new inventories or fuel systems is a one-function extension and I'm always happy to help!
  • Peak Performance
Engineered for smooth gameplay. The targeting raycast runs asynchronously with per-frame result caching so you never block the render loop, and the hacking UI lives entirely in NUI, no native UI thread cost while the menu is open. Outside of active targeting, which can reach up to 0.02ms based off of local testing, the script sits at 0.00ms idle.
  • 🌍 Translations & Localization
Features a full translations/locales system for easy text customization and language support. Includes German (de) and English (en) by default. You can very easily add your own language!
  • 📒 Extensive Logging
This resource has built-in logging so you can easily track who’s doing what, with support for Discord (with nicely formatted embeds), Fivemerr, FiveManage, Grafana, and Loki. A separate `logs.lua` file provides a simple configuration file—set up your preferred logging methods with ease and toggle exactly which actions get recorded. Click here to see everything that is logged and what can be configured!
  • ⚙️ Highly Configurable
Detailed configuration settings to customize and adapt the script to your server's specific requirements — targeting range (separate limits for cars and helis), highlight visuals, currency, cooldowns (per-user + per-vehicle), progress-bar behaviour, exempt vehicle models, emergency-fleet detection lists, and per-hack cost / duration / category / class restriction / screen effect and so much more! I'd heavily recommend checking out the config preview listed above.
  • 📱 Device & Currency
A configurable phone-plug item opens the hacking UI when used, and a separate stackable SIM item is spent per hack (or swap to cash with `CurrencyItem = nil`). Device consumption is toggleable, so you can run a reusable dongle where the SIMs are the real consumable, or a single-use burner every hack. The label on the balance readout is configurable too ("SIMS", "CREDITS", "SCRIPT" etc.). You can modify both items freely in the config to suit your server.
  • 🎛️ 27 Hacks Across 4 Categories
Fight with your brain instead of your gun. Every hack has its own cost tier, progress-bar length, effect duration, class restriction (car / bike / heli), success sound, and screen effect for the user inside the affected vehicle.
    - Sabotage (6): Pop Tires, Fuel Leak (slow drain + health decay), Fuel Purge (drains immediately to configurable amount), Disable Engine, Speed Bomb (driver-visible HUD that detonates if they drop below the armed speed), Disable Rotor (helis)
    - Control (11): Open Hood, Open Doors, Lock Doors, Unlock Doors, Steer Right, Steer Left, Drift Mode, Speed Limiter (cost slides with chosen speed), Lock Steering, Pull Up (helis), Deploy Brakes
    - Chaos (8): Honk Horn, Trigger Alarm, Smoke Screen, Eject Occupant (with seat picker + "ALL" multi-eject option), Flashbang (full-screen white pop + lingering afterimage), Reverse Camera, Local Chaos (every nearby NPC driver floors it at the target), Explode Vehicle
    - Intel (2): Owner Scan (pulls real player name from your DB, or labels police/EMS/fire as GOVERNMENT FLEET), GPS Ping (live tag on the map for configurable duration, essentially a tracker)
  • 📺 Per-Hack Screen Effects for Victims
Anyone inside the hacked vehicle gets a brief full-screen effect so they know they've been compromised and each hack picks its own vibe. Three variants ship by default:
    - Static: RGB chromatic split + scan-line static + tear bars (chaotic analog-TV interference)
    - No Signal: SMPTE colour-bar "no signal" TV flash with scanlines and occasional strobes (great for intel hacks)
    - Blackout: CRT power-off stutter collapsing to a thin centre line (electrical / engine-kill hacks)
  • 🎨 Per-Client UI Customization
Players choose where their panel sits (six presets: top-left, top-right, center-left, center-right, bottom-left, bottom-right) and pick an accent color from 15 curated presets or dial in any hex value via the floating color picker with saturation/value square, hue slider, and hex input. All preferences persist per-client via KVP.
  • Favorites
Pin your most-used hacks to a dedicated Favorites tab, saved per-player via KVP. Your go-to abilities are always one click away without scrolling through the full category list.
  • 🎚️ Configurable Highlight Visuals
Disable any combination of the three targeting visuals individually: outline shader, corner brackets, or floating arrow marker. For realism-focused servers that only want the crosshair, turn all three off; for arcade-feel servers, leave them all on.

There's plenty more packed in, with more additions coming in future updates.
